I've decided to remove the link to the UK photo petition after a few deviants were kind enough to point out some background information. What I thought was a potential piece of legislation which could ban street photography in this country was only a rumour. Thank you to those who sent that information along!

Within my past journal entries many of you have come up with some fantastic ideas for the site - how to streamline browsing options and improve gallery tools. It's nice to see that people are concerned with functionality rather than eye candy! These are suggestions that need to be heard, and the best way to do it is through the Suggestion Forum or the DeviantART helpdesk. $hexentanz has written an excellent news article that everyone should read (it's quick and easy) on this topic. So go ahead and fire away - it shouldn't take long and think of the benefits that your suggestion might provide for fellow artists! Staff members such as $Moonbeam13 have also helped to create and run chat rooms such as 'Artist Relations' - there should always be someone there who can listen to your concerns, ideas, compliments etc.
