Went out to a local Sushi place last night (Hamachi House on Morris & Barrington) and grabbed a seat at the central bar. At the other end of the restaurant were two people on a date, speaking quietly in a little corner of the room. I didn't want to pick the camera up so I rested it on the edge of the bar and aimed. I decided to focus manually and as you can see I screwed up on the distance (Just what is 10 feet anyways??!). Despite the goof I really like what I came out with in the end - you can see the edge of the bar, the windows behind, the lights above, and two soitary figures enjoying their meal.
I had some crazy banding with the image so I ran this through Noise Ninja. I would have liked to have kept the original grain - but the lines were too distracting.
Enjoy!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
